From May 14 to 16, the University “Goce Delchev” – Stip participates in the International Conference “ACE²-EU: Challenges and Opportunities”, which is being held at the Medical University of Gdansk, Poland.
This important gathering unites the member universities of the European alliance ACE²-EU in order to strengthen cooperation, plan joint projects and create synergy with the activities of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
At the event, the University “Goce Delchev” was represented by the Rector Prof. Dr. Dejan Mirakovski, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Prof. Dr. Ana Nikodinowska-Krstevska and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Olga Koshewalska. Their presence confirms the commitment of the UGD to deepen European academic integration and participation in initiatives that encourage mobility, joint research and development of study programs.
The first day of the conference began with a ceremonial opening and presentations by all partners in the ACE²-EU alliance. Special emphasis was placed on NAWA projects and their complementary role in supporting European university initiatives. Within the framework of the event, other university alliances that are part of the Fahrenheit Union of Universities – ENHANCE and SEA-EU – were also presented, emphasizing the international involvement of higher education in the Tri-City region.
The presence of the UGD at such a prestigious event strengthens its position on the European academic scene and opens new opportunities for students, teachers and researchers from Macedonia.
