Goce Delcev University – Stip actively participates in the co-creation of the ACE²-EU “Palliative Care” Flavour School, which is being held from 23 to 27 February and is organized by the Polytechnic University of Santarem, Portugal.
Within the framework of this international academic initiative, UGD is involved through Prof. Dr. Daniela Buklioska-Ilievska from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, who contributes to the development and implementation of the program. The event brings together students, professors and health professionals from several European countries, with the aim of advancing knowledge and practices in the field of palliative care.

Prof. Ligia Monteroso from the School of Health at the University of Santarem, a member of the ACE²-EU organizational team, emphasized that the course applies a humanized approach that places the individual at the center of care, promoting quality of life through respect and compassion. According to her, the program aims to empower students to work in interdisciplinary teams, with the aim of reducing suffering and providing support to patients and their families at all stages of care.

By participating in this Flavour School, UGD confirms its active role within the ACE²-EU Alliance and its commitment to international cooperation, strengthening academic capacities and creating significant social impact through modern and humane education.
