Conference on the Future of the ACE²-EU Alliance in Gdansk

On 8 and 9 September 2026, an International Conference on the Future of the ACE²-EU Alliance was held in Gdansk, Poland, as well as a series of meetings of the Board of Directors of the European University Alliance ACE²-EU, which focused on the future development of the Alliance, its institutional strengthening and the further deepening of cooperation between partner universities.

The University “Goce Delcev” – Stip was represented by Prof. Dr. Ana Nikodinovska-Krstevska, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, and the Vice-Rector for Investments and Development, who actively participated in the discussions and consideration of key issues related to the future functioning and development of the Alliance.

Representatives of the nine partner institutions of ACE²-EU participated in the events, and within the framework of the conference Prof. Dr. Ana Nikodinovska-Krstevska gave a presentation on the topic “The Future of the Legal Entity of the ACE²-EU Alliance”. The presentation was dedicated to the possibilities for further institutionalizing the Alliance and establishing a sustainable legal structure that will enable more efficient and long-term functioning, as well as deepening cooperation between partner universities.

ACE²-EU – Applied, Connected, Entrepreneurial and Engaged European University is a European university alliance that unites higher education institutions from nine European countries. Its activities are aimed at developing joint initiatives in the areas of education and training, research and innovation, entrepreneurship, mobility, culture and cooperation with society.

With its active participation in the work and governance structures of ACE²-EU, the University “Goce Delcev” – Stip continues to strengthen its European presence and contribute to the development of a stronger, connected and sustainable European university alliance.
