The Ambassador of Japan, Setsuko Kawahara, today paid a working visit to the University “Goce Delcev” – Stip, during which she also delivered a guest lecture at the Faculty of Law.
The visit began with a meeting with the Rector of UGD, at which they discussed the possibilities for deepening cooperation between the University and Japanese institutions.
As part of the visit, the Ambassador was also received by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Biljana Todorova, who emphasized that such events represent a significant opportunity for students.
“This is a great opportunity not only for the faculty, but also for the students, who have the opportunity to hear a lecture from a foreign diplomat, ask questions and directly become acquainted with international relations,” said Todorova.
The guest lecture was held at the Faculty of Law, where Ambassador Kawahara spoke about Japan’s foreign policy.
She indicated that the aim of the lecture was to provide students with a more detailed understanding of Japan’s approach and priorities in international relations.
The event sparked interest among students, who had the opportunity to actively engage and ask questions related to the topic.
