Goce Delcev University – Stip informs its students and academic staff about the scholarship opportunities offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), including summer university courses, master’s and doctoral studies, and research stays in Germany.
Today, 20 October: Online Information Session on Summer Courses
Interested students are invited to attend the final online question-and-answer session about scholarships for summer university courses in Germany.
Date: 20 October 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Platform: Microsoft Teams
The session will explain the application procedure, required documents, and course selection process, with an opportunity for participants to ask questions.
Summer University Courses in Germany – Summer 2027
The scholarships provide for an approximately four-week stay at a German university, with courses in German, subject-specific language courses, and opportunities to learn about German culture.
Students from various fields of study may apply, provided they have German language proficiency of at least level A2 and have completed at least two years of university studies by the beginning of the scholarship period. This means that students currently in their second year may also be eligible.

Scholarships for Master’s and Doctoral Studies and Research
DAAD offers funding for master’s studies, doctoral studies, research projects, and cotutelle doctoral programmes involving joint supervision. Depending on the programme, studies or research may be conducted in German or English.
The stated deadline for the upcoming calls is 16 November 2026. Applicants should check the specific eligibility requirements and deadlines for their chosen programme in the official DAAD scholarship database.
Additional online sessions will be held on the following dates:
- 27 October, 6:00–8:00 p.m.: Information on master’s and doctoral scholarships.
- 13 November, 6:00–7:00 p.m.: Final application question-and-answer session.

Information about master’s scholarships
Free onSET Language Tests in Skopje
Applicants for DAAD scholarships can take a German or English language test free of charge. Available dates are 21 and 26 October, as well as 4 and 11 November, subject to availability.
The tests will be held at the Institute of Chemistry, 5 Archimedova Street, Skopje. To book a test and obtain a TAN code for registration, applicants must contact the DAAD representative in advance.
Free Workshop on Preparing Scholarship Applications
On 30 October 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a workshop on master’s scholarships and other DAAD programmes will take place at the Blaze Koneski Faculty of Philology at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, in Room L1 (Goethe Room).
Participants will receive practical guidance on preparing a CV, a motivation letter, and the remaining application documents.
Places are limited, and advance registration is required.
