Five students and three young doctors from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Goce Delcev University – Stip actively participated in the 4th International Congress of the Faculty Student Assembly, representing their Faculty and University through scientific presentations, the exchange of experiences, and the establishment of new academic contacts.

Dr Aleksandar Velichkov and Dr Sara Denkova delivered oral presentations of clinical cases, demonstrating their knowledge, research skills, and interest in contemporary advances in medicine. The other six students — Angela Kočoska, Vanesa Spiroska, Ana Marija Minova, Angela Zdravkovska, Sara Guleska, and Sara Nikolova — participated with poster presentations, presenting their research and findings to Congress participants.

“Participating in the Congress was an excellent opportunity to present a specific case involving a surgical condition, exchange experiences with colleagues, and establish new academic contacts. Events like this are an important step towards our professional development and the advancement of medical science,” says Dr Velichkov.

“As a young doctor, I was particularly honoured to present an interesting and significant clinical case and to be part of an event that brings together young doctors and their shared interest in science. As in previous years, my participation this year brought me new knowledge, experiences, motivation, and opportunities for further professional development,” adds Dr Denkova.

The students’ participation represents a significant contribution to raising the profile of Goce Delcev University – Stip and reflects its commitment to promoting scientific research, practical training, and the active involvement of students in the academic community.

“Through my poster presentation, I had the opportunity to share my scientific work and hear different perspectives from other colleagues. The Congress was an excellent opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and establish new contacts,” says student Angela Kočoska.

“I was particularly pleased to have the opportunity to present my research and work to a wider academic audience. The Congress demonstrated how important collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous investment in science are,” adds Angela Zdravkovska.

In addition to presenting their work, the students had the opportunity to exchange views and experiences with colleagues and professionals from different academic backgrounds, discuss current scientific issues, and establish new contacts that could develop into future collaborations.

Through their active participation, the eight students once again demonstrated that young people from Goce Delcev University have the knowledge, ambition, and readiness to take part in international scientific events, contributing to the advancement of medical science and the development of a stronger academic community.
