As part of the celebration of Europe Day, the event “Europe is for opportunities” was held at the Youth Center in Stip.
This year, this day is also marked with activities dedicated to youth, education, European integration and cooperation, and in Macedonia the greatest emphasis is placed on the active involvement of young people in European initiatives and programs.
At the event, which was held outdoors, on the summer stage of the Youth Center in Stip, the faculties of the University “Goce Delcev” – Stip had their own stands with information materials about their studies. Regarding the opportunities for participation in student exchange programs, the Office for International Cooperation and Erasmus Plus of the University of Stip informed visitors about mobilities, studying abroad, student exchanges and international partnerships with universities from European countries that the University “Goce Delcev” has.
In addition to the faculties, the event within the framework of the “Fair of Opportunities” also presented the opportunities offered by European institutions, embassies of EU countries and civil society organizations for youth.
The event also included a debate – dialogue of youth on the topic “Opportunities without borders: Youth, Erasmus+ and the EU”. The debate discussed key issues – what the EU offers to young people in Macedonia, what are the opportunities for studying abroad, experiences and challenges, as well as the benefits of participating in mobility programs, as well as the support and role of the EU in the development of the country and the process of integration into the European Union.
