The Music Academy at the University “Goce Delcev” – Stip received an exclusive donation – a specially designed guitar amplifier, the result of many years of cooperation between the Academy, the cultural space “Audiokultura” and audio engineer Veselin Teoharov from “Teoharov Studio”.
The donation is the crowning achievement of the “Student Play” project of “Audiokultura”, within the framework of which students from the Jazz Department at the Music Academy have performed at more than ten concerts in the past three years, in a space that is considered one of the highest quality for jazz and performing music in Skopje.

According to Professor Sasho Popovski from the Music Academy at the University of Georgia, this is a donation of particular value for the teaching process and the development of students.
“This is a truly exclusive donation, conceived and made by Veselin Teoharov, and calibrated and tuned in collaboration with our legendary guitarist Vlatko Stefanovski,” Popovski emphasized, adding that the collaboration with “Audiokultura” receives a symbolic and essential conclusion precisely through this donation.
Veselin Teoharov explained that the amplifier is a unique hybrid between the hi-fi approach and the requirements of instrumental performance, created based on many years of experience and direct communication with musicians and students.
“The idea was a guitar speaker that retains all the performance of a classic amplifier, but with hi-fi quality and precision, as a reference tool for every guitarist and student,” Teoharov emphasized.
Vlatko Stefanovski also participated in the testing and final tuning process, whose contribution was crucial for shaping the tonal character and sonic identity of the amplifier.

The donation will be put to use in the teaching and practical work of the students of the Music Academy, as a lasting example of successful cooperation between education, the cultural sector and the professional audio industry.
