From 28 to 30 September 2026, Prof. Dr. Borka Tushevska-Gavrilovikj, Prof. Dr. Biljana Todorova and Prof. Dr. Jordanka Galeva from the Faculty of Law, together with professors from the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Goce Delcev University – Stip (UGD), participated in academic activities at the Polytechnic University of Santarém (Universidade Politécnica de Santarém) in Portugal. These activities included a Face-to-Face Meeting and the Social Impactors Knowledge Creation Team Workshop, organised within the framework of ACE²-EU WP2.
During the Face-to-Face Meeting, discussions focused on the development of joint study programmes, short-term educational formats, quality assurance and support mechanisms, as well as the next steps towards their implementation within the Alliance. Particular importance was given to the presentation and consideration of UGD’s new proposals for joint study programmes and the opportunities for their further development in cooperation with partner universities. This initiative represents another important step towards strengthening academic cooperation and creating new opportunities for students and academic staff within ACE²-EU.
At the Social Impactors Knowledge Creation Team Workshop, the professors actively participated in two events: “Respect & Dignity,” dedicated to respect and dignity, and “Social Well-Being,” focused on social well-being. During the workshop, the specific challenges that professors and students face in their daily lives were identified, thematic clusters were developed, and potential activities and solutions were proposed for further work in the future.
