Mobilities through ACE²-EU open up new perspectives – a student experience from Portugal

Bogoljub Mijalkov, a second-cycle student at the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade, participated in the five-day Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Designing Social Good: Bridging Sustainability and Project Management”, which was held at the University of Santarem, Portugal.

The programme brought together students from several European universities and focused on sustainable development, project management and their role in social change. Participants worked in multicultural teams through lectures and interactive sessions with contemporary approaches in these areas.

“This experience allowed me to collaborate with students from different countries, exchange ideas and get to know different cultures and perspectives. During the programme, I gained significant knowledge about sustainability, project management and their role in creating a positive social impact,” Mijalkov points out.

“It was a great opportunity to visit new places and make friends with students and professors from different universities,” he adds.

This is another example of how UGD, through the ACE²-EU Alliance, enables students to study at their home university, while simultaneously gaining knowledge and experience at universities across Europe.

“I encourage students to actively use mobility opportunities and upgrade their knowledge through international experiences with colleagues from different countries, opening up new perspectives,” concludes Mijalkov.
