After several years of hard work and dedication of the International Cooperation Department, Goce Delchev University has deservedly received the title of “ESCI Champion in the implementation of Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) 2025-2027”.

At the initiative of the European Commission, the title is awarded to one higher education institution from each Erasmus+ partner country, i.e. a country that has a national agency for European educational programs and mobility and an Erasmus+ charter.

In the following period, the title will be officially awarded at a ceremony organized by the European Commission in Brussels, preceded by coordination virtual meetings, as well as a meeting planned to be held in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Currently, on the platform for digital interinstitutional agreements, Goce Delchev University has concluded almost 400 agreements with partner institutions from Europe, including Turkey and Serbia.

The documentation that until some time ago was signed in paper form by students who leave or come on Erasmus+ mobility has been almost completely transferred to the electronic platform set up by the European Commission.

In addition, Goce Delchev University is among the two institutions in the country that implement the European Student Card. Namely, this student card in digital form is received by every student who leaves on Erasmus+ mobility and with the help of the card has the opportunity to receive various discounts, passes to libraries and national institutions and other benefits in the country where he carries out his Erasmus+ mobility.

With the implementation of these initiatives, Goce Delchev University, this time through the Department for International Cooperation, once again proves itself as an advanced and modern institution that is in step with the changes brought by the digital age.
