A lecture dedicated to digital culture and its impact on contemporary society was held at the Faculty of Philology at the “Goce Delcev” University in Stip today, organized by the Department of Macedonian Language and Literature.

The lecture was held in the amphitheater of Campus 4, and Dr. Marina Mijatović spoke to the students and faculty present, who discussed the topic “Digital Culture as a New Form of Social Behavior”. She addressed the role of social networks, the culture of “likes”, the influence of influencers, as well as the increasingly blurred boundary between private and public space in the digital era.

In her statement, Mijatović emphasized that she was honored to have the opportunity to deliver a lecture to students in Stip, emphasizing the importance of the topic in today’s context and expressing hope for deepening cooperation in the future.

The Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Dr. Lisi Karanikolova, emphasized that the event is part of a broader cooperation with the Institute of Serbian Culture Pristina-Leposavic, with which a Cooperation Agreement was recently signed.

The faculty points out that such lectures aim to offer new scientific perspectives on the impact of digitalization on society and to encourage academic exchange and international cooperation.
