Goce Delcev University participated in the international conference Erasmus Without Paper Convention 2026, held from 16 to 18 June 2026 at the University of Naples “Federico II” in Italy.
The three-day conference was organized by the European University Foundation, of which UGD is a member, and brought together representatives from more than 100 higher education institutions across Europe.
UGD was represented by Prof. Dr. Ana Nikodinovska Krstevska, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, who participated in the conference as an institutional representative of the University. The Convention was dedicated to the future of digitalization within Erasmus+ mobilities, with a particular focus on the Erasmus Without Paper network, the EWP Dashboard, digital inter-institutional agreements, online learning agreements, and interoperability between university systems.
Participation in this event is of particular importance for UGD, primarily because of the digitalization of Erasmus+ programmes and mobilities, but also because of the University’s broader commitment to digitalization as a lasting priority in advancing processes in higher education. In this regard, participation in the conference represents yet another confirmation of UGD’s successful work in this field, especially considering that the University holds the title of European Champion in the Erasmus Without Paper programme for Macedonia, as an institution that has fully digitalized all processes related to Erasmus+ exchanges and mobilities.
The main benefits for UGD from participating in the conference include strengthening institutional readiness for the next phase of Erasmus+ digitalization, exchanging experiences with European partner universities, gaining a better understanding of digital tools for mobility management, and opening new networking opportunities. UGD’s participation confirms the University’s commitment to modernizing the processes of internationalization and international cooperation, digital transformation, and alignment with European standards in higher education.
