Stefan Spasov from the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences and Tamara Atanasova from the Faculty of Informatics are the students from the “Goce Delcev” University – Stip who this year are among the winners of the highest award for young engineers in the country – “Engineering Ring 2026”.
The award ceremony, which is traditionally held for the 23rd time, will be held on September 4, 2026 (Friday), starting at 11:00 a.m., on the plateau in front of the church “St. Clement and Panteleimon” on Plaoshnik in Ohrid. A total of 14 best graduate engineers from all universities in Macedonia will be awarded at the event, and the attendees will be addressed by the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the President of the Engineering Institution of Macedonia, Andrej Lepavcov, and the President of the Chamber of Certified Architects and Certified Engineers, Dejan Metikoš.
Among this year’s laureates is Stefan Spasov, a graduate engineer in the Interior and Furniture Design department at the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences at the University of Gdansk, who has already continued his education in the second cycle of studies at the same department.
“This award is a great recognition of the work and dedication that I have invested throughout the years of study. At the same time, it is an incentive and a reminder of the responsibility we have as young engineers for the future – that we need to constantly create new values and continuously upgrade ourselves in our field,” Spasov emphasized.
