The Swedish Ambassador to the Republic of North Macedonia, Ola Sulström, met with young researchers from the University of “Goce Delchev”.
The meeting, initiated by the Embassy of Sweden, aims for the Embassy to visit and discuss with partner institutions in Sweden about further cooperation and the opportunities that young researchers have.
Ambassador Sulström met with researchers from almost all scientific fields at the University on Campus 2 – UGD.
Previously, the Ambassador also met with the Rector of UGD, Prof. Dr. Dejan Mirakovski, and visited the air quality laboratories in which the Kingdom of Sweden has donated significant funds in equipment within the framework of a project with UNDP.
Sweden is a long-standing partner of the University of “Goce Delchev” through cooperation in the area of air quality measurement and the improvement of the laboratories of UGD. Through this and other collaborations, UGD is currently a leader in measurements and scientific research of air quality in the country.
