At the 249th session, held on November 17, 2025, the University Senate of the “Goce Delchev” University – Shtip adopted a Decision to exempt half of the tuition fee for talented students enrolled as full-time students in the first cycle of studies in the academic year 2025/2026.
The Decision was adopted based on Article 94 of the Law on Higher Education and aims to provide additional support for students who demonstrate exceptional academic success.
According to the definition set out in the Decision, a talented student is one who, upon enrollment in the winter semester, meets the following conditions:
- has earned at least 40 ECTS credits,
- has an average grade higher than 9.5.
The 50% exemption from tuition fees will provide the most successful students with easier access to higher education and additional motivation to achieve top academic results.
