Nine students from the University “Goce Delcev” – Stip received certificates for successfully implemented volunteer work within the framework of the project to establish a resource center in the Municipality of Shtip, funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The certificates were awarded at an event organized on the occasion of the promotion of the results of the project, through which the students in the past three months had the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and experience working in various departments and sectors of the local self-government.

Through their engagement, the students not only became familiar with the functioning of the institutions and public administration, but also actively contributed to the implementation of activities aimed at the development of the local community.

At the promotional event, the Vice-Rector for Investments and Development of UGD, Prof. Dr. Darko Lazarov, emphasized that the University is particularly proud that all students were positively evaluated for their contribution and professional engagement during the project.

Additionally, it was pointed out that two students will continue their engagement after the completion of the project, at the Center for Local Economic Development of the Municipality of Stip, which is a significant confirmation of the quality of their work and the acquired competencies.

This initiative once again confirms the commitment of the University “Goce Delcev” – Stip to creating concrete opportunities for professional development of students through practical work in institutions, companies and organizations. At the same time, the project emphasizes the social role of the University in supporting local development and contributing to the wider community.
