Sara Paneva from the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences and Bojana Taseva from the Faculty of Informatics at the “Goce Delchev” University – Shtip this year were awarded the prestigious “Engineering Ring” award, which is awarded by the President of the country. The two students say that this award is more than a symbol for them – it is an incentive and an obligation for the future.

“For me, the ‘Engineering Ring’ award is a symbol of trust, honor and obligation. It is a confirmation that the work, creativity and dedication so far have been recognized, but also a reminder that the real path is just beginning,” said Sara Paneva, a second-cycle student at the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences.

She adds that the engineering profession carries a great responsibility – to create values ​​for society and be a driver of change:

“I do not see this recognition only as an achieved success, but also as a reminder of the responsibility that the engineering profession carries – to work with integrity, to be drivers of change and to create values ​​for society.”

Bojana Taseva, a student at the Faculty of Informatics, has a similar message:

“This ring for me is a symbol of hard work, dedication and love for the profession, but also an incentive for further improvement. I am sincerely grateful to the faculty and all professors for their selfless support, knowledge and the effort invested in us students.”

Taseva emphasizes that the honor of being part of the winners will remain a lasting motive in her future professional career:

The “Engineering Ring” award ceremony was held at Plaoshnik in Ohrid, where a total of 14 students from state universities were awarded this year.
