The United States Embassy in North Macedonia has announced the Call for Applications for the prestigious Fulbright Scholar Program for the 2027/2028 academic year, intended for PhDs and researchers from North Macedonia.
The program allows for a stay and conduct research at American universities and research institutions for one or two semesters (5 or 9 months), with financial support provided by the U.S. Department of State.
Candidates who hold a doctoral degree, have Macedonian citizenship, and are employed in North Macedonia are eligible to apply. They are required to submit a detailed research project, a resume, recommendations, a letter of employment, and an invitation from a U.S. institution.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 31, 2026.
